I wanted to say thank-you to everyone who has waited patiently, and I mean very patiently for their orders to arrive. Please know the last few bits are coming.
I also wanted to take some time and update you on myself and my family.
I had started back at work back in July after being off on Maternity leave. Lets talk about a total different afterwork game than before. Its like you come home and by the time dinner is made, child is cleaned, dishes are done and house is cleaned.. well you know BED is screaming my name lol! 🤣 and since then have taken on a second job because lets face it the world is a scary place right now, who knows what may happen tomorrow.
I am sorry for letting you down on regular posts and updates and I will get better at that.

Recipe Time‼️
Taco Pasta Salad
Best served in Tupperware’s Wonderlier Bowl, which features 3 different sizes and a liquid tight seal.
This is an absolute summer staple in our house. It’s quick easy and there is enough for leftovers or to take to a potluck (please lord let’s get some potlucks in before the summer ends!🤞)
Make it up the night before and let the noodles soak up the flavour 🤤
Pretty simple ingredients
1 bag of pasta - rotini works best for this recipe
1 large container of French dressing
Ground beef
Taco seasoning (trick I learned from a friend, Costco has giant containers of taco seasoning for much less than what you pay for the small packages... we eat a lot of nachos and tacos lol)
1 large green pepper - diced (or use whatever colour You have in the fridge)
Cherry Tomatoes Cut in half
Red onion - diced
Shredded Cheese ( use what you want I like a cheddar)
Doritos original

Cook your pasta and rinse in cold water, cook your beef and drain off fat, add taco seasoning as per directions on package and let cool.
Cut your veggies and add to the noodles. Add half of the French dressing and mix. Add beef and cheese. Mix well and add more dressing if desired.
Before serving break up Doritos and sprinkle on top. I sometimes put the Doritos on the side so they don’t get soggy when there is left over salad.
This recipe normally calls for lettuce, I never use it as we always have left over salad and I can’t stand soggy lettuce.

I hope everyone is staying safe and well.
I wanted to start sharing some cooking tips, recipes and hacks we all may use or want in these crazy times.
Please feel free to share your own. I love learning new things!
I decided my first post I was going to talk about my love for honey 🍯.
I literally add honey to everything whether it be sauce, bread, tea even my veggies. It’s the perfect amount of sweetness.
I was shocked when I did the research on how good honey actually is for our bodies. It helps reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes and cancer. It helps relieve sore throats, and can help heal burns and wounds to the skin.
When I start getting the signs of a sore throat I like to mike honey lemon cinnamon and hot water. If I start it as soon as I feel that scratched I almost always avoid the cold.
I actually heard a story where a farmer had an injured cow and honey actually helped save the cow.
Now let’s talk purchasing. First of all SHOP LOCAL!
Anything imported is soo processed it’s not even funny. There are soooo many local apiaries to choose from. There are so many grades of honey and different ways to get the honey, whether it be raw or pasteurized.
When you go to buy the local honey don’t say “wow that is expensive” so much time, effort, sweat, blood and tears goes into harvesting that honey. It’s truly a labour of love and you can taste it in the final product.
My personal recommendation for local honey would be The Hive & Hearthstone. Check them out!! They share their trials and tribulations in honey production. Also there honey is absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!
I’ve included some neat little substitutions for honey instead of sugar and don’t forget to lower oven temperature when baking with honey instead of sugar!
