Let me begin by saying there is no right answer.... what ever you decide you want to do or what you can handle is the right choice!! Whether you want all the drugs,none at all, or anything in between... you are absolutely right!

I believe in everyone having the right to choose what’s right for them and to change that choice at anytime as long as birthing person and baby are not in danger! I also believe in educating parents to be about their options, the risks and benefits and allowing them to research and ask questions and then make an educated decision!

I love using affirmations to reduce fears and change my beliefs. Repeating them daily may help you too!!

Pregnancy and birth can be like running a marathon!!! You will have highs and lows time where you are running along with ease and times when you have to push through!

You can endure what ever pregnant birth can throw at you!

After a break to grow, learn and enjoy the summer I am back and working hard!

Affirmations.... repeated regularly while feeling into them help us change our thoughts and beliefs! I use affirmations regularly.... well daily!

Through pregnancy, birth and parenthood our minds, bodies and souls go through so many transformations and changes. This can be hard to process and accept!

Exciting news for Saskatchewan parents to be!!!
I can’t imagine what it was like for families during the last few months, becoming parents is a roller coaster ride at the best of times!
Just imagine having to choose just one person to support you through birth, choosing between a partner, a parent, another loved one or friend.... not knowing who or what is the best choice.

Here to support families during one of the most difficult experiences in life, when we have suffered a loss, are suffering a loss or are expecting a loss. A bereavement Doula can help!

A bereavement doula is an expert in all things pregnancy loss, and can be your compass when it seems like you're completely lost.

A doula who supports families experiencing a loss or an unexpectedly difficult or life-limiting diagnosis, offers a variety of services and accompaniment to families.

This often includes in-person support through meetings before delivery, during labor and delivery, and afterwards.

The role of a doula in this situation also includes resource and information sharing and gathering. They offer information on options available to the parents, so they can make informed decisions. After delivery this can includes helping the family say hello to their baby, to bond with their baby.

They can also support families postpartum in healing and navigating the loss .

It’s a day to honor individuals who identify as mother's have lost a child in any way (including those who have lost their chance to become a mother through infertility).

Today we honour each of you as you grieve your beloveds.

I think every person who has given birth or is going to give birth has an idea of their “perfect birth”! I also know first hand how even with the best intentions birth is unpredictable and we need to be aware and prepared for any possibility!! Every birth is miraculous no matter how it happens!

Affirmations are a great way to reduce fears, lessen negative self talk and worry! Repeat this affirmation daily.... as many times a day as you want, with emotion and conviction!
