- Invitations will be sent by email over the following two weeks to randomly selected potential sponsors from the remaining pool of 2020 Interest to Sponsor forms

Statement from IRCC Minister Miller on Canada’s commitment to support migrants in the Americas
- Starting this fall, Canada will welcome up to 11,000 Colombians, Haitians and Venezuelans through a new humanitarian permanent residence pathway
- Additional 4,000 temporary foreign workers will be welcomed with the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot

IRCC has been really busy this week - there were 3 back to back draws and overall 4100 Invitations were issued to apply for PR !!

Sep 26 : 3000 Invitations to apply to the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Provincial Nominee Program.
CRS Score Cutoff : 504

Sep 27 : 500 Invitations to apply to the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades Program to applicants proficient in French
CRS Cutoff : 472

Sep 28 : 600 Invitations to apply to the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades Program for applicants with experience in Agriculture and agri-food occupations

Latest updates regarding the MUCH AWAITED Parents and grandparents sponsorship program !!!

Between October 10 and 23, 2023, IRCC will send 24,200 invitations to apply to potential sponsors. IRCC aims to accept up to 15,000 complete applications.

If you’re invited to apply, IRCC will email you using the email address you put on your 2020 interest to sponsor form.

As per the latest announcement made today by The Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, category-based selection will be implemented for Express Entry programs. The first category-based invitations to apply are expected to be sent this summer.

This year, category-based selection invitations will focus on candidates who have

~a strong French language proficiency
or
~work experience in the following fields:
healthcare
science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
