Humboldt/Stony Lake Playground

The playground is open! We need more sand so the ground is a bit uneven, but feel free to send your kids down to pack it all down.

The playground is set up, however, there is still sand to be put in and the concrete needs to cure. Please refrain from using the play ground until construction is finished. Thank you!

We are installing the playground tomorrow 😎

Please dress in layers as it will be cold/rainy.
Lunch will be provided.
We're going to get started at 8 am bring a utility knife.

Maybe bring rubber boots...

Our playground is being installed Thursday, October 5! It shouldn't take more than one day as long as everything goes well. If you wish to volunteer please send me a message or comment below. We will need 10-15 volunteers with utility knives. Some other items we'll need are rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, a couple ladders, 12" by 4' auger for the skid steer. We'll also need a small group of volunteers to help with lunch and refreshments. Thx everyone!

Good news! We have ordered the playground equipment and our park is on its way! Thanks to everyone so far for all the kind words and support. We are so excited to be at this phase of the build, but there is still much to do. I have already heard from many of you but if you would like to volunteer to help set up, send us a message! We will need lots of volunteers and various equipment (welder, skid steer, etc). Expected delivery of the park will be late August, start of September, tentatively.

We have a good chunk of our goal raised, but are still going to raise funds so that this is truly a great space. Thanks for everyone's support in our fundraisers thus far, sponsors, donations, and encouragement.
