In honor of the weekend and Summer Cookouts, we're sharing our secrets to cook the perfect steak!

1⃣ Order your premium cuts fresh and individually sealed from Your Neighbour Steve, delivered right to your door. 😏

2⃣ 30 minutes to 2 hrs beforehand, season your steak with salt and then with pepper just before cooking!

3⃣ Using a sturdy-based frying pan, heat it until it's hot but not smoking.

4⃣ Drizzle your oil (about a tablespoon or two of your favorite oil) into the pan and leave for a moment.

5⃣ Time to add your steak! Toss in a k**b of butter, some garlic and robust herbs, if you feel like it!

6⃣ Using your tongs, sear your steak evenly on each side, turning about every minute for the best caramelized crust.

7⃣ Remove your steak from the hot pan and let it rest on a board or warm plate for about 5-7 mins.

8⃣ Serve up your steak whole or carved into slices with it's resting juices poured over.
