Spring is upon us which means that migratory birds are moving through our community. To help protect them on these long-distance night journeys, turn the lights out! Light pollution confuses birds and causes them to waste precious calories. Light pollution is also detrimental for insects which are a valuable food source for birds. Take the Bird Friendly Uxbridge pledge today and be part of positive change!

Parade! 🎅
I've loved seeing all the photos and watching all the videos from yesterday's Remembrance Day service. Thanks to everyone for sharing them. I don't spend a ton of time on social media, but after special events like yesterday it's great to look through them and see the community brimming with pride. Uxbridge really is a special place.
It was particularly meaningful to me that there were so many young (and very young) people who participated in the ceremony and have engaged in remembrance activities this week. It gives me great hope for our future.
I always tear up a bit seeing the crowd that gathers at the four corners on Nov 11, braving the cold to honour or veterans and service men and women, past and present. I truly love our town.
One of the few photos from yesterday that I managed to take myself :).
Hey everyone! 👋
A member of our community, Courtney, is a 31-year-old mother of 3 who was just diagnosed last fall with stage 4 cervical cancer. After enduring chemo, radiation, and surgery, she was looking better health wise when a trip to the hospital revealed that the cancer had spread to her lungs and lymph nodes.
A raffle has been set up to help support Courtney's family during this time. The raffle draw will take place Oct 29 at 6pm. You can find out more and get involved on this page - Adderley Family Support Raffle. ❤
