Dynamic Structures
Dynamic Structures designs & builds big, complex mechanical systems, i.e., telescope enclosures. Dynamic Attractions invents iconic theme park attractions.
Dynamic Structures designs and builds amazing feats in engineering. We create dynamic, complex mechanical structures. Our engineers and steel fabricators have forged an impressive list of ‘world’s firsts’ since 1926, from structures for the Olympics to the most sophisticated telescopes on the planet. We have helped create the state-of-the-art amusement ride systems that are considered to be the mo
These summer nights are wonderful for star gazing.
Astro-hobbyists as well as scientists have been using telescopes with a secret ingredient. The brilliant Ritchey–Chrétien telescope design, invented in 1910 (16 years before our company was founded), has made many discoveries possible.
Let’s salute the famed ‘RC’ design. From the Keck telescopes on Earth and the space-bound Hubble, it is a critical part of the telescope’s design. We’ve built most of the world’s largest observatories and understand the technology’s importance to today’s and tomorrow’s astronomers and astrophysicists.

5 years ago, one of the world’s most unique parks began ‘flying guests’.
Inside Zaryadye Park, just steps from Moscow’s famed Red Square, is Zaryadye’s Flight. We loved designing and fabricating it. And our on-site build team braved a Russian winter to install it.
Our rides systems are transported by truck or ship. Except this one. To help with an expedited ‘opening’ schedule for President Putin, this is the first Flying Theater to literally fly. We loaded it on massive transport airplanes. It was just another way for us to provide our expertise in innovative solutions, project management and precision engineering.

Asteroids hurtling toward Earth? Have no fear, DART is here!
NASA's 'Double Asteroid Redirection Test' hopes to deflect an asteroid on Sept 26. Yes, this new technology relies on some of the world’s largest, most precise telescopes … which we have helped design and build.

The Thirty Meter Telescope’s dome will be like no other.
The uniquely Canadian ‘calotte’ design looks like a giant eyeball staring into the heavens. What happens under that eyelid is magic. The enclosure protects the sensitive instruments, quickly adjusting to temperature changes that occur at the extreme mountaintop location. Otherwise, the air immediately in front of the mirror would distort images and compromise the telescope’s scientific results.

Dynamic salutes the innovation and cutting-edge technology of Futuroscope, which was on full display on the weekend during the grand opening of Tornado Chasers.
The future-themed amusement park is like no other. All of us at Dynamic Structures are honored to have been a part of two consecutive first-of-their kind attractions:
2022 – Tornado Chasers (world’s first Dynamic Motion Theater)
2016 – The Extraordinary Journey (world’s first Dynamic Flying Theater)
We will continue to invent, engineer, and deliver never-been-done before products for futurists like those at Futuroscope.

Travel providers continue to invest in integrating Robots into their Hotels rather than using human staff for certain reception duties or even having them prevent food and drink to visitors. Although some may see this as a first step into integrating AI into travel, the fact is that a large number of customers already book their travel and accommodation with the help of internet chatbots, specifically tailored AI who can handle requests and provide useful information when human operators are unavailable. As technology advances will we see more robots and do you think this can upgrade the experience?
