Untwisted Antidote
We are Untwisted Antidote. Playing original, soulful, intense music that emphasizes tight groove.
Last night pre-recording jams for the few “full band” live off the floor songs on the album I’ll release in May
Getting pumped!
Here I am (Christine Johnston) LOST forever!! This great shot captured by boke.hmedia at my Dead or Alive album release at the Capitol Music Club is a fave!!
I am so grateful for this crew or pals that I get to make music magic with!! They totally blew me away that night too. MUCH LOVE!
MUSIC IS A REMEDY!
Here's Marshall just after he flipped his hair/head back while rippin' it up on the drum set at the Capitol Music Club for our Dead or Alive album release on Wed Aug 31.
I am so glad I met this dude and his intense music mixed with life energy.
MUSIC IS A REMEDY!
I have known Jordan for years, and I am so thankful that our paths connect in relation to life, music and friendship. Here he is "letting go" on the mic during a cover by THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS called Alibi at the Dead or Alive album release at the Capitol Music Club. Nailed' those high notes at the end brosky!
MUSIC IS A REMEDY!
So grateful to have met, know and play with Dirk in my band! His slide guitar...clean playing, and musical mind is an asset to what we do as a crew! Here he is working those juicy sounds for us on stage at the Dead or Alive Album Release at the Capitol Music Club.
What a great shot captured by the talented boke.hmedia
MUSIC IS A REMEDY!
Sure appreciate this dude Colton James Kuptana skills, and mind on our crew!! Killin' it on the bass, with a subtle smile right here at my Dead or Alive album release at the Capitol Music Club Wed Aug 31, 2022

They have put so much time in alongside me in prep for tonight’s show Dead or Alive Album Release at the Capitol Music Club at 6 pm!
I am so pumped to do this with them.
Thank you pals! Let’s light it up tonight! 🙌🏻🔥🎶
At the Taste of Saskatchewan last week we did a 45 min set for a huge group of beautiful people ☀️ in the sunshine 🤍 🎶🎸🎹🤍
Thank you Taste Of Saskatchewan for the opportunity to get groovy with all of you!!

Here we are opening the Remedy Music School Party in the Park last Saturday afternoon, with a song I wrote last year called, "Don't walk alone." Inspired by my children's need for my "presence" with them while they do life. You can be there, but not be present (anxiety keeps us trapped in a whirlwind in our heads).
Most of the crowd was sitting in line with, or behind the cameraman here, because it was a little too loud I guess. That's what happens when you don't have a sound man.
Super happy with how it all went, and for all of the people who came to hear the Remedy students share the original songs they wrote while experiencing music as a remedy together over the past year.
Also, thanks to my band mates!!
And my partner Clark Gamelin - I love you
A piece of a cover we are playing in Victoria Park this afternoon, by Kings of Leon - Beautiful War
I am so excited to play outside with these pals 🙌🏻☀️🎶🤍☀️
Remedy Music School Party in the Park to wrap up a year of experiencing music as a remedy together. 1-4 pm at the corner of Ave E South and 17th Street West, down in the park.
TONIGHT we do an open mic set at 9 pm…this original ditty is one of them
And right before we perform as a crew, my band pals will play three songs with a student of mine in Remedy Music School who will have her first on stage performance with a band, doing two of her original songs and a cover of Angel from Montgomery 🤍
My band and I jamming a new tune last night. This one’s just for kicks and isn’t for a specific project - which is a great feeling. This quote rolled off my tongue a few years ago - “we play with music; it plays with us.”

Small clip from a recent open mic at the Capitol Music Club on International Women's Day 2022
This was our first performance together as a band.
Sadly, the camera just stopped 🤔at a random spot on our first song of the night😭 ug
Good tymes tho!!!
