It is with immense sadness that we join the family in grieving the sudden loss of John. E Maracle. A member of the Assemblies of God General Council Executive Presbytery along with serving as Chief of the AG Native American Fellowship for many years, John was also a pioneering pastor & evangelist.
But for us here at ABA, he was also a valued colleague, friend, and critical contributor as a Board of Directors member from our very beginnings.
He will truly be missed.
Although November 8th is the official Indigenous Veterans Day......

A quick shout-out to a great colleague and friend, Aaron M. Ross. He just launched his new book, "The Holy Spirit and the Eagle Feather: The Struggle for Indigenous Pentecostalism in Canada". This book will be an essential resource in our own ongoing efforts to develop a Canadian Pentecostal History course that will be offered through ABA in the near future.
A recorded video of the recent book launch was recently made available on YouTube....
The Holy Spirit and the Eagle Feather: The Struggle for Indigenous Pentecostalism in Canada CSSR webinar recorded on 2 November 2023 with book author Aaron Ross.Hosted by Sarah Wilkins-Laflamme, University of Waterloo.
Take a moment today and reflect on how you can be a minister of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:18).
Just a reminder that Truth & Reconciliation Day is this Saturday, September 30th.

God met with us!
Time for some fireside tea along with some fish.....then it'll be service time!
Hello from northern Manitoba!
