Happy International Women's Day to all the ladies at every stage of life for simply being you. It's wonderful to be acknowledged for the achievements, support, and strength women have always provided throughout history. Women have gathered, shared, mentored, supported, and provided strength in numbers, often offering emotional and mental support or simply being that listening ear or helping hand within families.

Regardless of your profession or where you are in life - whether at home with children, working, studying, married, single - know that you are doing wonderfully and awesomely. Let's be each other's supporters and cheerleaders, guiding each other forward. Instead of comparing ourselves to others, let's focus on our own journey and recognize the amazing things we have accomplished.

We all possess the ability to love, care, and nurture, bestowed upon us by nature, providing us with strength and resilience throughout many eras. Let's walk tall and keep our eyes forward, uplifting those who may need an extra boost or guidance. Let's be champions for those in suppressed environments, as they are a part of us.

If we haven't received mentorship or support growing up, let's take what we've learned at any stage of life and share it with those around us. Have a wonderful International Women's Day - you are excellent.

One of the biggest lessons I have brought forth (some days I still forget) Is that I am not for everyone.

The reality is not everyone is for you.

If that was so, I think life could be pretty boring. Instead, we learn from each other, some pull out the best, and some people pull the worst out of you.

The biggest lesson is to remember that you are yourself and that because the other person may not want you, it has to do with their thoughts and beliefs.

So many times, I have heard women speak about trying to convince another they are worthy of keeping; after my separation, I remember doing this myself.

That's their perception and take on the world, not yours. Therefore, you are worthy whether they see you as such or not.

When we believe that others' thoughts & actions are what determine our worthiness, we give them the power.

You were born worthy. The experiences in your life have to lead your subconscious mind to hold onto that belief.

If another doesn't want you, that is their belief.

You are worthy.

I am excited to introduce you to Maskcara 3D foundation. I am in love with it! As you may have notice I am no young chickie. I have a few wrinkles few age spots and time just has a habit of playing with the texture of our skin as we get older. So when I’m looking at most foundations, I have found that they seem to get cakey and enhance all my pores and all my fine lines and especially around my eyes,really enhance the crows feet and wrinkles. With Maskcara, it becomes a second skin, it’s cream base so it doesn’t leave a powdery finish on your skin it’s great for people with combination skin, oily skin and for skin like mine that now that it’s winter, is extremely dry. They have many colours to choose from and what is the difference is instead of having to use layers upon layers of corrector make up, you choose the colours that will work on each area of your face. This has taken me years. To achieve. I have moved, started a new career, and found a new life. But that all takes time, we don’t wake up one morning and it easily simply happens overnight. It takes a change in mindset. It takes a change in heart. And sometimes it takes a change in location. My motto for years now has been I will, I can, I am. Once you reach the point of I can, I am will follow naturally and you’ll wake up and not even realize that you have made it to that point till the next day when you wake up with a smile on your face you’ll realize you got there.

And that’s a wrap ! The week is done. Sometimes it’s nice to just sit and Hmm. Perhaps a glass of wine 🍷
