What a crazy weekend!
Parts of the province experienced extremely heavy rainfall in slow-moving or training storms, resulting in flooding in many areas. There was even a confirmed tornado in Ayr which did quite a bit of damage but thankfully no injuries have been reported.
The deluge of rain created an absolute mess in the Dundas/Dixie area of Mississauga, Ontario, with much flood damage being reported. The picture below demonstrates that clearly. And just a timely reminder to keep you and yours well away from flooded rivers, streams and creeks until conditions improve.
Much calmer and markedly cooler conditions will prevail for most of this week, giving us a brief taste of Autumn. The forecast, however, shows temperatures rebounding by the weekend to late Summer norms.
What happened in your area this weekend? Please include your location and a picture or video if possible. Thanks!

Following too Closely
The driver of a motor vehicle shall not follow another vehicle more closely than is reasonable and prudent, having due regard for the speed of such vehicles and the traffic upon and the condition of the highway.
Most rear end accidents are due to drivers following too close to the vehicle in front of them. Save lives by sharing the road responsibly which includes your life, those of friends, family and others

Summer is almost over and time is just over the horizon. Project iGuardian® educator Mr. Emmett teaches his students how to set healthy digital boundaries and encourages them to take a social media break when it makes them feel unhappy. For example, kids should only use electronic devices in shared areas — not behind closed doors, like their bedroom. Learn more tips at dhs.gov/know2protect/k2p-kids.
