Sometimes I'm the worst.

Every year I plan on setting a few attainable goals and before I know it, I've jotted down approximately 10,000.

I expect a lot of myself and it weighs heavily on me. I'm learning to let go of those pressures which is proving to be harder than expected.

But ultimately I want to come to a place of love and acceptance knowing that being kind and good is good enough.

This year my goal is to scale it back and live my life under three meaningful umbrellas, Play (because let’s be real I'm a 5 year-old at heart and my drawing skills are proof), Joy (because it’s the bees knees) and Health because well...it's kinda important.

In August she said “Sayonara”, packed her bags and moved to Montreal.

She had no idea what life would look like but she knew it was time for a change.

In typical Michelle fashion, she believed good would come and so it did.

Soon she was commissioned to paint the incredible Le Germain Hotel in the heart of downtown Montreal.

Montreal just got a little bit brighter. Swipe right to see her latest work. The project is close to being done. ❤️🌈

SIDE NOTE:

The other day I was in a store buying pillows (you know the decorative pillows you put on your couch that are completely unecessary - yes those ones) and I got into a “casual” conversation with a young, beautiful sales woman about trying to tune into our intuition. You know, just a casual conversation on a Monday afternoon. 😂

We laughed and chatted for far too long. It got to the point where she was going to ask if I wanted to sit down on one of store couches and have a cup of tea.

BUT based on the daggers her manager was shooting us from across the store, it was safe to assume I had taken up enough of her time.

We both left the conversation pondering what the world would look like if we stopped questioning our intuition and instead followed it. 🥰

Then in the Urban Barn store, under the perfectly staged chandelier and close to the fabric swatches, we made a pact to start a new chapter. 👊🙌❤️

More listening, less questioning and for God’s sake, no more pillows - four is plenty.

If you’re not sure what it means to pilot a wingsuit, it’s basically strapping on a pair of wings and flying like a bird. So yeah, no big deal - said no one EVER!
