Kings of the Hill

We are filling up fast folks so if you want to put a team together and get in, now is the time. If you are looking for teammates, use the fargorate app and filter by "BC", then sort by "Rating:Highest First". Scroll down to where you need someone to fill in your roster. Once you find someone who may fit, send them a message. (be sure to pick someone fairly local?) After that is done and your team is filled, etransfer the registration fee to [email protected] and you are all set.

Just a quick reminder: Tonight Kings of the Hill will be back in action tonight as the reigning kings GWN take on the new challengers with the highest combined fargo team thus far Smooth Operators. Hoping to get started around 6-6:30.

On Wednesday June 15th beginning at 6pm, Kings of the Hill will resume with it's next challenge expected to be a run-out fest with two closely matched teams and higher Fargo's. If you would like to challenge for the crown, put together your team of three (Min fargo robustness 200) and register at www.kingsofthehill.ca

With the relaunch of Kings of the Hill coming up next week, we are inviting new challengers step up and claim the throne. The next match will take place on June 17th. The First team to sign up will be next in line for a shot at the title.

Kings of the Hill – 3 on 3 Challenge

Well folks, it's finally here. After many delays, starts and stops, hopefully things will smooth out and we can start this ball rolling.

MAY 27, Live from the Metro Cafe, 7:30 pm, Kings of the Hill will return!

"Great White North" is back to see if they can win the Krown, but, "Butter Cream, Butter Cream, Croc Skin" may have something to say about it. It's been a looooong time but I am really looking forward to this. See you guys soon!!

UPDATE: Kings of the Hill will return, I am just waiting a bit longer so we don't get bit by another development and have to postpone again. I think in the coming weeks that we will see some new conditions emerge and hopefully we can start booking some venues to host the show. Right now, it looks like end of March / early April, factoring in that the Vegas tournament is about that time too. Thanks for your patience everyone, it is much appreciated.

It is with great frustration that I have to announce the postponement of the Kings of the Hill again. With the Highway being down, there is no way I can get to the venue in time this Friday. I will review the schedule again this Saturday and try and reschedule. Covid, Fires, Floods?? What's next? Thank you all for your patience, and I will get this going again, I won't give up yet. It really is too much fun!

Due to summer, holidays, and scheduling conflicts, we will try and hold the next Kings of Hill after school restarts. Dates TBD. Sorry for the delay, but not much we can do if everyone is busy. Will update more in the next two to three weeks.

Congratulations to HOT SHOTS!, Brad Haydu, Jora Sandhu and Simon Pickering for winning the Kings of the Hill Challenge Match last night. Our first in 9 months. Thank you to BREAKING BAD, Gary Sankey, Michael David Silvius, and Regene Lane for their efforts in last nights match. It was a close fought match, but the last two sets were dominated by HOT SHOTS and they emerged victorious 23 - 16. Thank to Jose Lazaro and the Staff at the Metro Coffee Bar and Billiards, we appreciate your support of the billiards community and look forward to returning soon!! Thanks to Rob Hoiberg for coming down and commentating with me as always, and I am looking forward to planting a pie or two on that mug of yours! (watch for more information on that in the coming week)

Coming to you from The Metro Cafe Bar and Billiards, in Vancouver we have our current CHAMPIONS , BREAKING BAD, (Gary Sankey, Michael David Silvius and Regene Lane) will finally defend their crown against the ever so patient, HOT SHOTS (Brad Haydu, Jora Sandhu and Simon Pickering) This has been a looong time coming and I am excited to start this up again.

Due to the recent provincial health restrictions put in place for COVID, we will be postponing the Kings Of The Hill challenge until further notice.

In a crazy nail biter of a match, the Breaking Bad ( Gary Sankey, Mike Silvius, Regene Lane ) team emerged victorious 26-24 defeating very tough opponents, The Sneaky Pete's (Andrew Wroblewski, Paul Mak, and Steven Liao). It came down to the last possible game before a tie breaker. Congratulations to the victors and thank you to the challengers. Thank you as well to The Metro Coffee Bar and Billiards for hosting us, it is much appreciated. See you all again on Friday, November 13 at 7pm again LIVE from The Metro!
