Local wood waste (100% fir sawdust!) is reused by compressing it into our Fire Bricks. Because the moisture content is only about 10%, this makes for hotter and cleaner burning fires with less smoke, less ash and less creosote build up. With no chemicals and fewer sparks, fire bricks are perfect for keeping your campfire safe and help lower your environmental impact.

Firebricks take up 1/3 the space of a cord of wood but contain more heating value than a cord of firewood, due to the density of the wood briquette and the optimal moisture level they are dried to.
Purchase your firebricks either neatly stacked, packaged and wrapped on a pallet or loose in a “bulk bag”. Pricing including delivery and additional info below:

Briquettes contain about 19,800 BTU per kilogram when produced from kiln dried lumber by-products. Our briquettes contain, on average, 8% moisture by weight, where typical firewood, when seasoned in dry conditions for one year, contains about 20% moisture by weight. Since it takes energy to boil off the moisture, less moisture means more useable heat is produced.
