IT'S OFFICIALLY BACK! The huge Airdrie Used Book Sale is happening again this year on Monday, May 30 from 12-8pm at the Town & Country Centre in Airdrie! Proceeds of this sale go to new non profit society The MOVEable Art Project! There are lots of titles of new and used books, activity tins and so much more available at this event, all for $1 or $2! This sale serves as a fundraiser but also to bring affordable books to Airdrie so cost isn't a barrier to reading!
YES! We are accepting Book Donations of any kind, we just ask that they be in gently used condition! You can comment below, PM us, or you can drop off your donations to local business, Shoplift Deals during their regular business hours. We accept donations up to and including Sunday May 29!
This is a new location for us this year and we have longer hours so we hope this allows for more people to attend. You can come on your lunch, after school pick up, after work, after supper!

I think one of my favorite things about being a mortgage professional (other than helping people

Jr. high and upper elementary, I swear they were still babies a year ago. 😉 Good news is, with their return to school, I return to the office full time this week too! Now just to get caught up on 8 weeks worth of work and learning for myself 🤣

Statement by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance on the Canadian housing market - Canada.ca Earlier today, the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) announced that, effective June 1, 2021, it will implement a new minimum qualifying rate for all uninsured mortgages.

The City of Calgary Fire Department is excited to partner with the Calgary Public Library on a virtual program – the Fire Sisters Youth Camp.

This online camp is open to all girls and those who identify as girls, who are between the ages 12-17, and will be offered through the Calgary Public Library online portal. This virtual camp has been developed to empower young women and help them build confidence and resilience through innovative thinking, and mentorship from remarkable women role models. Each session is hosted by Calgary Fire Department women firefighters who will share their experiences, along with some basic skills and knowledge to help girls know what it means to be a firefighter.

Scheduled for the first four Tuesdays in June (June 1, June 8, June 15 & June 22), each session will last approximately 60 minutes, starting at 7 pm.
