~ The Inspiration ~

It was my mother's 75th birthday.

What could mark the occasion?

If asked what she’d like as a gift, she’d probably say something intangible like: “to have my family all together".

And so, I created an elegant gift featuring the personal details of all her loved ones that she could wear close to her heart each day. It became known as the Timeline Scarf.

Since 2018, I've created many objects like this for families wishing to honour their loved ones in a special way.

This is us - in November 2017 - that day in the fancy restaurant in Toronto when I gave her the special scarf…
