A little late but.... WE ARE OPENING FOR THE 2020 SEASON FRIDAY MARCH 6TH AT 12PM (noon). We are delayed as we had to do some major internal repairs.
Recently posted about the meeting to discuss the development at the old Lakeview Generating Station site. Rewind almost 15 years... here's a video I shot of the "four sisters" being demolished on June 12th, 2006. Yes that's me grunting in the middle of the video.
Great turnout tonight for the Lakeview Community meeting related to the OPG/Generating Station lands. We were able to see the latest drawings, zoning maps, density and heights. Far too much information to post here. For the very latest visit:

None of these plans are final, but I can see progress in the right direction.
Welcome to South Sauga Life! Through this page we hope to take a closer look at the people, businesses, events and attractions that make South Mississauga a special place to live. You can expect to see news about upcoming events, meeting and festivals. We will highlight local businesses, especially those that we feel are under appreciated or hidden gems. We will also meet some to the people that make South Mississauga a great place to call home. Let us know if you have any suggestions for things you would like to see on the page. I can guarantee you it's going to be a different look at the neighbourhoods and people of the place we call home.
Visit this great little shop great for decorating ideas and endless browsing!
It was so nice of Ward 1 Counsellor Stephen Dasko to have us visit his office at City Hall. We chatted about local development and some of the issues we’re facing in Ward 1. I was able to raise some concerns brought to me by local residents and shopkeepers (who I remind that Stephen is always available for them to contact directly). Stephen is really connected to the community and cares deeply about the residents. Thanks again for the invitation to visit and being so generous with your time. We’ll be seeing you around Ward Onederful.
Fire & Ice in Port Credit in January. This was a really fun event that I hope they repeat next year.
