Syrphid fly larva (hoverfly / flowerfly)
This little syrphid fly larva came into the house with some kale I picked. The adults are hoverflies (a bee mimic and pollinator), but the immature stage is a voracious aphid predator. They come in many colours, but you can ID them by looking for the lack of legs, the pointed front end, and the way it feels its way forward with the whole front end. See how quickly it moves now that it has warmed up. During the summer they are found in the middle of aphid colonies, cleaning up the pests 😊
