Registration opens September 1, 2024
Early Bird Deadline September 30, 2024
Manitoba Music Conference @ MBCI in Winnipeg, MB

Upcoming Sessions:
1. Mandart Chan - Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Social Justice - where do I start?
When we encounter terms like Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Anti-Racism, and Anti-Oppression, we often hesitate, unsure where to start, especially in the classroom. As educators, we fear making mistakes but cannot ignore these issues. While I am not an expert, I can share my experiences, what worked for me, and my lived experiences from multiple equity-deserving communities. Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression work requires curiosity and courage—join the conversation!

2. Long & McQuade - New Music Reading Session for Young Choirs
Come join us in singing through some highlights of the new music for 2024 for younger choirs. The selections will feature unison and 2-part works for early years & middle years choirs with lots of ideas for programming throughout the year. We have room for lots of voices and the first 30 will leave with a complimentary package of octavos!
