My day started with terrible period cramps. I've been scrolling through Instagram and saw someone post their spinach omelette breakfast so I've decided to give my body some good food.
How do you have a spinach omelette for breakfast without making something separately for your 3 year old? That's how! I rocked it today and he ate every single bite!!!

This post is symbolizing an important moment in time for me. My mother tongues are Russian and Hebrew. All my life I used to write poems and was always able to express myself beautifully in writing. When I moved to Canada about 5 years ago I thought to myself that it is a bit sad that I will never be able to write beautiful poems that rhyme in English because my English will never be on the same level as my Russian and Hebrew.
Well, this weekend at 2 am I was awake with my son who was having knee growth pain and while he was falling back into sleep I was looking at photos of him from that day.
I found this photo of him on the balance board and I thought I'd look for famous people's quotes about balance to write on it, after reading through some of them I have decided that I am important enough to put my own thoughts and words on it, so I wrote a poem.
I'm proud of myself. Just a reminder to never say never and believe that we are capable of more than we think that we are.
