Last week of November, I received this email from my dad. Sharing it with you in the hopes it lands in your heart and helps you move into December with a sense of what is important.
"Treasure love for your family, love for your spouse, love for your friends. Treat yourself well and cherish others. As we grow older, and hopefully wiser, we realize that a $300 or a $30 watch both tell the same time. You will realize that your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world. Whether you fly first class or economy, if the plane goes down - you go down with it.
Therefore, I hope you realize, when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sing songs with, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven and earth, that is true happiness! Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. So when they grow up they will know the value of things and not the price. Eat your food as your medicine, otherwise you have to eat medicine as your food.

We all have a story to share and a mask to remove to be our vulnerable self. Here I am sharing how I cope with anxiety.
In 2019 I was diagnosed with epilepsy and for the last few years I’ve been conditioning my brain to control reactions from stress triggers and emotions with the practice of mindful awareness. This has helped me control the feeling of being overwhelmed and anxious which is why my brain would seize. I’ve set boundaries in my life to reduce stressors and began practicing mindful awareness regularly. I’ve noticed the change from programmed subconscious behaviour to a new lighter sense of joy, gratitude and happiness.
While on a trip to Costa Rica I read Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza. This book reaffirmed the powerful of mindful awareness and how positive internal dialogue can shape our heart and brain. I say confidently, I can and will be seizure free.
My lesson to share with you;
Be your best advice by trusting your intuition. Get to know your internal dialogue, what makes you shine bright and what signals stress. Listen to your inner knowing, follow your bliss.

The natural cycle of practicing is change and evolution. Practice time spent discovering and growing your potential. A chance to clear your mind and come back with a positive perspective. Synchronize with your whole self. Harmonize, connect to all moving parts of your body and channel your minds many states.
Keep going, explore your practice. What are you drawn to right now? It’s ok to go through cycles of low motivation. It’s all apart of the journey.
My practice time right now; Walking, Hot Yoga, Meditation, Reformer. Every day is different, take time to do what feels good for you.
