St Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Acthemichuk's
It was built in 1908 by the newly arrived Ukrainian emigrants in the surrounding area.
St Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Acthemichuk's Church) is located in east central Saskatchewan roughly centered in the area of Yorkton, Canora, Kamsack, roughly 7 ½ miles North East of Rhein (in #273 RM of Sliding Hills [Mikado]). It has an cemetery on the church grounds, and a memorial plaque listing those known to be buried there was erected and dedicated in 2008.

5 miles North, 2 miles East and a half a mile North of Rhein
We would like to invite you to our annual celebration on August 6, 2023.
Divine Liturgy begins at 9:45 AM, followed with blessing of graves and a potluck lunch.
The church and surrounding property are maintained by a few local volunteers.
Church cleaning and yard grooming will take place during the week prior to the service.
If possible your help would be appreciated with cleaning, cutting grass, as well as providing a donation for the long term upkeep of the church and cemetery.
Some of our future projects consist of: replacing the main church door and reinforcing the concrete foundation around the church perimeter. Donations toward these projects would be greatly appreciated.
Following lunch we would like to have a brief meeting to discuss future improvements and maintenance projects.
Memory Eternal for members who recently have passed away: Ted Prokopchuk, Pauline Semeniuk and Helen Bodnarek.

The 2022 church service for St. Peter and Paul’s Ukrainian Orthodox church (Acthemichuk's Church) will be held Sunday July 10th.
Mass will start at approximately 9:45 AM.,to be followed by services at the graves. A pot luck will follow.
