The Hearts and Minds Lab is recruiting parents of children younger than 48 months living in Canada to participate in an online study by the University of Manitoba! We are interested in learning about how caregivers’ own life experiences, emotions, and parenting styles are associated with measures of their pulse and other behaviours. The study includes a 1-hour virtual assessment via Zoom followed by a 30-minute online survey. During the assessment, we will ask you to complete a series of tasks through Zoom, which may include interactions with a friend or acquaintance. You will also be asked to take measurements of your heart rate using an app on your smartphone and to complete questions about your perceptions of the experience. All sessions are videotaped and all information is kept confidential. After completing the online survey, you will receive a $30 Amazon gift card.
