My favourite way to heat a space has always been by wood-stove 🪵🔥
For cold days like today, it’s best to have a hefty stockpile of firewood stacked up and ready to go like in this custom steel firewood rack I made

It’s think it’s about time I reintroduce myself. My name is Matt and I’m the owner/operator here at Twisted Iron Forge. I grew up in the Collingwood area and went to school to be a welder, but I’ve been tinkering with custom metal fabrication most of my life. I got my first forge in 2013 and after some time practicing the craft and a few successful projects, I started Twisted Iron as a side business. Over the years, the business has grown and the jobs have gotten quite a bit bigger and it’s turned into a full time gig. I’ve been busy lately with custom metal fabrication jobs like stairs, railings, gates, fireplaces, and more for both residential and commercial uses. Those who know me know that I also have many hobbies where I like to get creative with metal fabrication like on my chopper build (1997 Harley Davidson Sportster)🏍💨
This picture was taken behind the bar I worked on for my friends at the Black Bellows brewpub in Collingwood. If you haven’t been, please check them out! My favourite brew is the Shinny Fuel 🍺

Happy New Year! 🎉
Despite the difficult circumstances in 2021, Twisted Iron Forge is going strong with custom metal fabrication in the Blue Mountain / Southern Georgian Bay Area. Hoping to share more content shortly on what I’ve been working on and the exciting projects to come. Looking forward to what 2022 will bring - Matt
