A couple of years ago I got to draw the awesome for a very cool ttrpg live play on called Los Mu***os. I had such a blast making these portraits 💙

I’m half Mexican on my mom’s side, my grandparents grew up in Aguascalientes Mexico and eventually made their way to LA, i grew up in the LA area surrounded by many families just like ours. My grandparents love their hometown and always regaled me with their stories and this year I finally got to visit. It was just as magical as they had always said 💚🤍❤️🇲🇽

Yesterday El Salvador celebrated their independence day along with a few other Central American countries 🎉 🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻
I’m half Salvadoran on my dad’s side and our family is from a small port town called Acajutla close to the border of Guatemala. I spent a lot of my summers there eating as many pupusas as possible💜

Doña Quixote’s story is so close to my heart, my grandfather and I had a similarly close relationship and he had just passed away a couple of months before our Editor reached out to me about it. A lot of the main family in this book is a reflection of my own family 💜

Been working on adjusting procreate brushes to try and emulate sketching on paper better and I’m getting really close to what I want

A week and a half ago I got to visit my grandparent’s hometown of Aguascalientes Mexico, it’s considered one of the country’s Magical Towns. I took inspiration from the Jardin de San Marcos for a lot of elements in Doña Quixote as a tribute to my grandparents’ favorite place and I could definitely feel the magic there! 🇲🇽
