Timeless design happens with thorough planning (and the right designer!)
This home was such a joy to design from concept to completion. No details were missed which resulted in a home that my clients absolutely love, and so do I!
We did all of the design on this home remotely as it was out of town, sourcing locally and shipping to the site. It's no problem when you have solid interior design drawings, plans, and great relationships with trade suppliers.
Every finish, lighting, furniture, and custom draperies were well planned and thought out before the walls went up.
I think we did a great job, what do you think?

Plans are under way for this classic principal ensuite remodel.
A new layout (out with the built in corner tub!) and larger shower will create better flow and a modern space.
Every good design starts with a plan. Investing in a designer saves you time, frustration, money, and most importantly it saves you from making costly mistakes.
We take into account the whole picture including layout, finishes, fixtures, lighting and materials before any demo is even started.
This creates a seamless workflow and a renovation with a clear direction and end goal.

Gorgeous Grey Chest $495

Amazing what a little (lot!) of prep work, wood filler, sanding, and paint can do to reinvent a piece!
This was a customer's piece purchased for her front hall with hopes of my bringing it back to life.
I think she is pretty happy

This piece was just waiting for the perfect home.
Today it is headed to an 1800s farmhouse that is being turned into a B&B in Huntsville.

When the customer asked me how much time it took to complete this I really couldn't answer her.
I work on several pieces at the same time between cleaning, sanding, taping, primer, base coat, 2 coats of paint, applying transfers, stenciling, and stenciling some more.
Then distressing, 2-3 layers of top coat, then antiquing wax.
Not to mention having my kids carry it up and down the stairs for staging/photos, then listing for sale.
I think I work for about $2 per hour.
But I love it!

For sale!
I used tissue paper with Paris fair theme on the sides and drawer fronts, hand-painted stripes and silver painted hardware to complement the clean lines of the piece.
The top is a rich black with grey base done in an oil finish for durability.
The whole chest has 3 layers of top coat for protection.
42.5” wide x 19” deep x 30.5 high

This gorgeous desk was delivered today, customer is using it as a nightstand!
Oversize floral were the inspiration but I wanted to keep it on a neutral base colour.
Custom stencils on the outside with smaller version on the sides of the drawers, hand painted champagne gold striping and hardware, all drawers lined in new fresh paper.
Wish I could have kept this one!
