The space is evolving and each day is a gift 🎁 that we share with the community.
The city and the people are so disconnected even other businesses who do not share a sense of community. We want to break that selfish behaviour by being better connected with the city. After several decades of humanitarian aid work it does start with the people then we connect and anything is possible.

Who doesn’t love 💕 mooncakes… these creative babies were a get together with my friend Judy to connect over tea and create new pairings for my upcoming ART IS FOOD/ FOOD IS ART exhibit. Duck Yolk and bean past with matcha, what about custard and Niagara Peach preserves….stay tuned
What a piece of art in 1933 this was used as a tea cosy- on display at The Textile Museum. Imagine the pomp and grandeur in having a cup of tea.
Dragons Breath Blue voted the best blue cheese in Canada- Nova Scotia proud. I fell in love with this blue cheese cheese event. Mellow and pairs well with anything including a cup of tea on or tea mocktail.
Unable to get in Ontario so every trip to Nova Scitia I bring it back to savour.
Works of art Larch Wood Wolfville Nova Scotia. Beautiful wood boards functional as well as beautiful. Kim is a wonderful wealth of knowledge and we even bought a bigger board… long wait from COVID as we were last here 4 years ago for DEVOUR Film Festival.

Amazing human being Merrill J Fernando died today. Pioneer of Tea in Sri Lanka but a person of live in action who lived his life and business to benefit humanity. The world will miss you and I will remember your kindness in supporting fundraiser in memory of my friend Hema for women in Sri Lanka. 2011 we were able to help with 4000 mammograms for women tea workers.
Merrill touched many lives and is a role model for all of us both as a person , and how we run our business to benefit those less fortunate.
Hyssop was harvested and drying takes 6 days to create a tea blend for our final group pot luck and blended with other organic botanicals and green tea. This is an ancient herb since classical antiquity with a long history in medicinal properties such as antiseptic, cough reliever and expectorant. Also used in spice such as za’atar.
Modern Turkish Delight pairs with Assam tea served in vintage Aynsley teacup surprised at modern twist Taste of the Middle East Summer Festival.
