New burn in the works, a display sign once I manage to have a good collection of burns for a market or in general 🔥🙂.

Calling this piece done and its ready to go to the talented .gillian who did the design originally 🙂. Was an honor to be able to burn it, and turned more so into a learning piece, but still happy with the result. Not much shading, just some subtle parts shaded in. Onto the next burn 🔥.

It's been a minute since my last post, but managing to get back into the pyrography groove. I feel like my pyrography setup and station have changed more than I've burned. This one is not the most practical, but it works it is nice having the burner above me so the cord for the pen is easier to maneuver. The window sill isn't unfortunately a woodburner wide so had to makeshift a shelf. Pyrography piece is of a beautiful design from .gillian

Decided to take an old stool of ours and kind of sacrificed the legs for the top to add a little something to it 😊. Might turn it into a lazy susan instead. Happy Sunday everyone 🙏😊!

We are hosting an artisans showcase during Bay Block Party this year from 12 noon until 10PM. Bring your table and wears and a project you are working on. We will have someone doing caricatures and many things going on during the event we are excited to give the community an opportunity to see artisans in action!

Its been a minute since ive last wood burned and got back into it very quickly. This piece is finally done and sealed 😊! I did decide to colour in just the flowers and leave the horse. Pretty pleased with how it turned out. Might go with lighter colors next time though. Let me know what you think 😊.

Heart Mandala done on a 8"×6" bamboo cutting board. Had alot of fun with this burn and definitely will be burning more Mandalas in the future.

Just a burn for fun and trying out something different with color as well as using a torch around the edges. Gives it a nice touch I find and may have to use the torch more 🔥. I also want to put this woodburn out at a random spot in the city, and hope someone comes across it and it brings a smile to their face. It may be an odd thing to do but a way to get my burns out there 😊. Happy family day everyone 😊.

I enjoyed doing this wood burn on a planter box🔥. Used a dremel pen to carve out a bit of the flower petals to add some depth to it. Turned out pretty well I think 😊. Bloom where you are planted 🌻🌼.

Found these little planter boxes at dollarama when I was out and about. There is always something cool to find at dollarama. Figured this would be a perfect thing to burn onto it. And eventually put something into there 😊🌹🌻🌼.

Another pyrography piece that is off to a good home 😊. Was happy to make this for someone and be able to have another one of my wood burned pieces sold and is out there 😊. Always happy to accept new pieces and try new types of burns if anyone is interested. Have a good day 🌅.

Well this piece is officially done and will be given today to a friend for their secret Santa gift 🎁🎅. I'm so happy and proud that it is the first piece that I've done that is a fully commissioned piece. Had a lot of fun with it and of course as always gained more knowledge on certain things and improved on my skill 😁. Happy holidays 🎄 and burning 🔥

Spent the month of November on a couple projects and kept me really busy. This has been the main project of the month with my girlfriend .r. She made the ginger bread one and mine is the classic hallmark one 😁. Was definitely fun to work on and put some of my skills towards it. Also learn some new things along the way. Still the drawers to open through the month 😁❄☃️🎄.

These two burns are a little bit over a year apart and when I started wood burning. The owl burn was the first one I ever burned with a solid tip wood burner. The bunny burn was with an optima burner. I feel like a have grown in my pyrography adventure and more of the steps to take for wood burning. Excited to keep going and to see how much more I can progress in burning 🔥 😊.

Yet another workbench and shed clean for the millionth time 😂😂. The workbench is a bit more organized than before and mise en place(everything in its place) 😊. Got a circle all ready to go for something that I would think is really big and a huge step in my pyrography. Can't say much yet but it involves 🍩😶. The 2nd pic is going to be my tag for the bottom of the easel 😊.

2 year anniversary homemade gift is finally completed. A little bit off the day but wanted to put as much time and care into it as I could before moving onto the next one. Happy to add it to the wall with Juniper 😊.

I've got alot of projects on the brain and want to get onto paper or at least a computer. Growing my knowledge as a carpenter as well as a woodworker as everyday passes so excited to produce more projects. Happy to be growing a group to show and hopefully teach the aspects of my woodworking/woodburning along the way 😊. Happy Thanksgiving 😊.

It took a bit of time and some trial and error but, managed to get the first corner a good mitre fit for the most part. On to the next ones. Let me know what you think 😊.

Switching over to a bit of woodworking for a new project I want to work on. Still will incorporate some woodburning in there as well when I progress further into the project 🔥😊. Will post future updates as it changes 😊.
