Well, Jodi’s Closet Rentals is officially closed!

Thank you all so much for your business over the past couple of years and I appreciate every recommendation you’ve given to friends about my business, but for now I move on.

Most of the leftover dresses will be going to thrift shops and some may be on their way to consignment shops.

I’ll have them set up on 3 different racks - sizes 10-12 (with larges and XL’s), sizes 14-16 and sizes 18 and up.

You will have the opportunity to try stuff on in the dressing room but keep in mind it is only one room so there may be some waiting.

Hoping the rain holds off but will have most dresses under a tent for you!

Ladies - time for me to be real.
My heart is really just not in this side hustle anymore. You’ve probably noticed that my posts have declined and that’s because I haven’t had the energy to put into this that I should to have a successful business. I have loved doing this but I think it’s time I move on. I will always appreciate every rental, every like, every share, every comment, everything you ladies have helped me to accomplish over these last 2.5 years.

As of today, June 17th, I will not be accepting anymore appointments. For those of you with appointments in the coming week, I will still have dresses available for you to try and rent.

I will be having a sale in the near future of MOST of the stock (not all of it). All dresses will be $10.

Don’t forget to reserve your dresses for those weddings and events in advance! I unfortunately won’t be able to take last minute appointments very often due to my schedule now so if you think you need one coming up please message me! I don’t want to disappoint you!

Just giving everyone a heads up that my summer is seeming to be quite busy! With my daughter starting soccer, I’m balancing 2 part-time jobs at the mall and Saunders Farm, my dress rentals and also my stitching side hustle, I may not be able to squeeze people in for last minute appointments like I’ve been able to in the past! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try and set up appointments well in advance so I don’t disappoint you! I’d love for you all to be able to wear my dresses! Send me a PM if you have any questions! I can’t believe it’s been two years! There’s quite a few new dresses that I haven’t taken photos of yet on mannequins OR people, so perhaps a new photo shoot in the future? Let me know if you think you might like to take part!

I’m already on the hunt for my very own little black dress to wear to the 7th annual Little Black Dress event in September in support of cancer research! Have you thought about which one you might want to rent if you’re attending?!

Hey ladies! On the train home from Toronto from spending the weekend in Niagara on the Lake doing wine tastings thanks to winning a contest from CHUM 104.5 💗 We got to hang out with Meredith Shaw and some other wonderful people from Bell Media! If you’re not familiar with her, she’s a host on CHUM and a style expert on Your Morning, The Marilyn Denis Show and eTalk! So obviously I had to wear one of the new dresses available in the closet! Perfect for spring and summer events! I paired it with brown suede boots from H&M!

Hey ladies! Just letting you know that this weekend I’ll be out of town so any appointments need to be either tomorrow or Thursday! I won a trip to Niagara on the Lake and being the lush that I am, I’ll be drunk all weekend! 🙈

My little business turned 2 yesterday! (I missed it cause I was dealing with a very sick little girl!)

Sorry I’ve been MIA! the holidays have finally left our house - all of the decorations came down yesterday and the house is back to normal! Just bought a few new dresses thought I’d give you ladies a peek! What do you think?
