OCC you just made our year! Seriously - everyone who purchased something from us, or just stopped by to say "hi" or talk costumes, Tony and I can't express enough how loved you made us feel.
After such a super challenging year, starting with the death of my father in March, and a summer full of pain and sadness it was SO uplifting to hear so many of you say you're so happy there is someone local who carries the products we do, and that we're part of the community.
You've inspired us to not only continue but to make DK even better going forward! Thank you everyone!

Seriously folks - if you are intimidated by Blender and don't want to shell out for ZBrush - get Nomad!!! WELL worth the stunningly low _one-time_ cost of $15ish (and yes, that gets you all the new updates!)

It's plenty powerful but intutive at the same time plus there are some fantastic tutorials out there by folks like Dave Reed, SouthernGFX, and Small Robot Studio that will help you out!

We have achieved a beetle bear body! Not going to lie - might have had to unstitch and redo a couple of the limbs. But I purposely chose this yarn so that after crocheting I can fluff and felt it which should hide some of my more grevious sins, even when he doesn't have the costume on.

What's this? A project just for ... fun?!? For me?!? XD
To go along with the AWESOME movie that came out this summer Build-A-Bear has ADORABLE bear-sized Blue Beetle costumes for sale. So I bought the costume but have decided I will crochet my own "Jaime Beareyes" (although I don't know - where oh where in this house am I going to find _blue wool_ or _stuffing_?).

Keep your fingers crossed for poor Jaime - after reminding myself how to crochet, I'm more or less winging this.
