Despite best efforts outdoor all-season yoga has been discontinued for the moment. One on one outdoors sessions are still available by appointment.

Otherwise I expect to recommence when weather conditions and scheduling becomes more favourable.

Please keep doing your yoga or what have you at home and getting outside for exercise keeping distance. We need to step up our efforts to stem the tide and take heart that vaccines are on the way to those who need them most first! Namaste (my best translation is "the best in me sees and celebrates the best in you").
Great words to live by I believe!

Oh, for all adversities in these times, we are blessed here with this amazing weather!

Outdoor yoga classes will continue as long as weather is viable. Tuesday and Wednesday look iffy for rain possibility, but short of lightening and snow I will be there 11 AMs continuing into October: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 11 AM to Noontime.

As we move into the colder season dressing more warmly and starting with the warmup of Sun Salutations will be key... and keeping our hardy spirits! Small group yoga at Friendship Park. Hope to see you there. Beginner level yoga. BYO mat. :)

A bit about myself and what to expect from a Yin Yoga Class Led by me (Charlotte Forsdyke) at Oasis Yoga Kingston

I teach Yin style yoga with influences from the disciplines and practices of bikram, ashtanga and yin yoga, and also from pilates and jin shin do mind body acupressure.

I became a certified yoga teacher in 2007, with my primary training in the Hot Yoga discipline descending from the school of Bikram Choudrey, the series of which I have been teaching since 2007 at Feel and continue to now that it has become Oasis Yoga Kingston. I am privileged to have been taught by some amazing (and less yang tending) teachers over the years, first getting hooked on the practice at a small studio in the Beaches of Toronto: the motto of “no struggle or strain” promoted by that studio owner and her gentle way, attracted me to the practice. Teacher training was a whole different animal but I have no regrets whatsoever!

I was fortunate to find a studio opening up in my hometown of Kingston shortly after my prolonged stint in Toronto for work and school and found a lovely community there and a uniqueness of style that suited me very well. That was Feel Studio which has transitioned to become Oasis Yoga over the past couple of years.

Monday night Yin is an hour long drop-in class:
