YL Thieves Blend by: Dr. Robert Papas

I was able to closely approximate YL Thieves with this formula (by weight):

Clove Bud 40%
Lemon 30%
Cinnamon Bark 15%
Eucalyptus 10%
Rosemary 5%

I always formulate with a digital scale in grams, so if you wanted to make 10g divide each % by 10 and that's the number of grams you'd use. You can replace the % with drops or ml but the odor will be too strong in clove and cinnamon bark because those oils have a density greater than 1.0 g/ml and the other oils are about 0.9 g/ml. This is why it's always best to formulate blends by weight for better accuracy and repeatability.
