Not sure how this happened so fast - but my littlest Parker has turned 5!!! From the day she became apart of our family she has demanded her sisters attention (and mom & dad 🤣). She has BIG love for all her family - cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas & papas. Shows the most amazing enthusiasm and excitement toward life. Loves animals, wrestling/fighting with her dad, doing anything her sisters can do, hanging with her bestie cousin Blake, and cuddles with her mom (always ensuring me she’ll stay little forever)❤️. We love you lots PK! We hope you never stop loving so fiercely & keep living life as big & exciting as you are. Happy 5th Birthday!!!

Unbelievably proud of these girls!!! They showed up start to finish in every single game over the past three days. Gold medal match up was a battle of two teams that were undefeated all season playing off in the Provincial final. Vermilion completed the undefeated season! Thanks to all the parents and amazing fan support that came out to cheer them on to the win ❤️ Tiger Pride 🐯🐯🐯. Provincial Champs 💯🙌🥇🏆

I have been anticipating & patiently waiting to start this program since my hip replacement months ago. I would be beyond excited for you to join me in this series. It is my hope to create a space where individuals can thrive together to be at their best through supporting & encouraging one another to take charge of their health. Motivation comes AFTER action. Action energizes you, gets you “amped up” to keep the momentum going. You can’t gain momentum sitting still!!!

Motivation is not something you always have. It is created. When the motivation is lacking you have to form it, as well as be disciplined enough to do it anyway. Crank up your music, get a new workout outfit, or write down your goals. Find ways to pump yourself up & carry it through. Keep promises you make to yourself!!! If you’re in a slump, challenge yourself to move for at least 5-10 minutes, you’ll more than likely complete the full workout. Get up & get going - you got this!

Life will not wait for you to learn this important lesson. Slow down from time to time throughout your day to take it all in; truly appreciate the moment you are in. It’ll come around only once. If there is something about yourself you want to change, make a plan & do it. But make sure you do it from a place of gratitude & self-respect. Reach out for help if you need some, let people know how much you appreciate them, & try to give back when you can. There is good in everyday! Sending you all the power of big effort & a positive attitude. Be grateful, be committed, be the best version of you! 💞

Have the attitude that NOTHING will ever get in your way! EVER! I don’t feel like it, I’m tired, I have failed so much, I don’t fit in, I am having the worst day, I’m not good at this.

Work your butt off no matter what obstacles you face, pick yourself up & simply keep going. Success is based on your willingness to dig in the trenches NOT when it’s easy, but when it’s really freakin’ difficult. You may suck for awhile, but be willing to suck until you get better! Keep going! You will inspire others around you to do the same ❤️.

There is a difference between being broken and being defeated...A body can be broken. That’s a physical limitation that inhibits certain movements and may require modifications. Defeated is an emotion that YOU allow to consume you based on several circumstances that are OUT OF YOUR CONTROL, including being broken. It’s been official for some time now - I AM BROKEN. So - what do you do when you’re broken? I have chosen to carry on doing EVERYTHING I can, with more appreciation and respect for my body than ever before, with more desire and determination to stay strong so I can recover stronger, and above all be kinder to myself because only I decide whether it defeats me or drives me ❤️

The Build n Burn 5 for 10 Challenge!
The goal of this challenge aims to have you complete 5 pre-recorded workouts led by me combining strength training & metabolic conditioning (hiit/cardio) within a ten day time frame. The intention behind “5 for 10” is to make exercises & movement doable for everyone. You will have the ability to get in extra rest/recovery when need, room to incorporate getting active outside with some walking, running, and even biking as weather shifts. Or schedule in some yoga, stretching or other self-care options within each ten day framework. You will be encouraged to map out your ten days by intentionally scheduling in/committing to a plan that suits your lifestyle. When we do this we are more likely to stick to the plans we set out to achieve and remain more accountable to ourselves. That’s a positive thing when trying to reach any goal and will help you stay motivated - remember “action precedes motivation”. When you think about the benefits of exercise how do you justify skipping your workouts? So many people say “I don’t have time”, but when we get regular exercise, it makes us more efficient & more effective human beings.

Scenario: We get “too” busy with work or other things no our health essentially takes a backseat to everything else. We start skipping the workouts. The brain fog sets in which means we make poor food choices (sugar) to stay engaged. Then our sleep is garbage & we feel even worse the next day. The cycle continues & we just feel worse and worse as time goes on. Once we get back on program with our workouts, we are always surprised how much easier it is to get things done & how much more time we feel we have.

We all know the physical benefits of exercise: improving health and energy. We often forget about the mental & emotional benefits.
❤️ Help with depression & anxiety
❤️ Reduce Stress
❤️ Improves Sleep
❤️ Boosts brain power

HEALTH should be a TOP priority. It shouldn’t be the thing we are ‘too’ busy for. Prioritize it in your life - even if it’s 15-20 minutes a day - I promise you it will improve all other areas of your life. Next time you start feeling foggy & slowed down or unstable, try doing a few push-ups, squats & jumping jacks. I’m willing to bet you get a quick boost in mood & productivity and your emotions will level out a bit. “Action precedes Motivation - so let’s go!” ❤️💪
