Beauty day to frame some walls!

Managed to squeeze in another timberframe project. Large RV storage with steel siding and glass panels for a neighbor.

Truss day on another triplex!

Final timberframe project for this year. Will get back next week to take some photos with roofing, gutters, and skylights complete. This was probably my favorite project this year! A few 85 year old Douglas fir trees fell on this property 4 years ago, the owner had them milled into 8x8 and 8x10 timbers and stored them to dry for 3 years. We then hand crafted the mortise / tenon joinery and raised this structure that will remain part of this house and property for decades to come. And only a few hundred meters from where the trees were planted so long ago, these trees will never leave their original home. The feeling of connection with nature while building this one is hard to explain, but craftsmen like myself will understand. Absolutely love it!

Our new multi family framing site is off to a great start. This is the first of 7 triplexes that we will be framing in the Maple Bay area. We are very excited to get going on this project.
Off to play with some timbers for a week while we wait for roof trusses.

More footings!

We love it when a client calls us back for more work. This time, we were asked to come back to a monster custom house that we framed to do a series of architectural concrete walls. Stay tuned for updates on this beautiful project.

Making Chips!

Our addition build in Qualicum is almost completed, we installed the countertops and finished a few odds and ends yesterday, plumbers and electricians on site next week for finish as the homeowners button up the painting. Should be handing keys over next friday!

This monster sure is taking shape now. Last section of roof to button up and we're onto decks and some backframing.

She's getting big now! So many crazy details in this monster, with complex framing as our specialty, the guys and I are loving the challenge here.

Plugging away on railings and stair Stringer capping details. Starting to get all of the finishing touches dialed in on this one!

Little vinyl plank flooring this weekend at our addition project in Qualicum. Completion is in sight for this one!
