Every year the CSP Mountain Division Ski Improvement Clinic and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort sponsors ski improvement clinics for patrollers from across Canada. Three weeks and hundreds of patrollers attend.
We can’t thank you enough!

While not part of the Gatineau Zone, Calabogie remains part of the regional skiing fabric. Our thoughts go out to them after a fire destroyed their snowmaking pump house last week.

Two years ago Mont Cascades lost its historic chalet to a fire. While they work on plans to rebuild, they are bringing their A game to the food experience on the hill. Check out some Gatineau Zone creativity this winter! It won’t be long until they are welcoming guests!

Our season has begun in the Gatineau Zone and first tracks were had this past weekend at Mont Ste Marie Ski.
With that begins the early season onslaught of training. Seen here is some toboggan practice.

It’s a busy weekend of events in the National Capital region.
Our very own Atlético Ottawa will be battling for the title of the Canadian Premier League tomorrow after the Ottawa-Redblacks game today!

After some CPR education with the uOttawa mascot the Gee-Gee's celebrated a 37-7 victory against Ottawa rival Carleton University (Official)...the fans were looked after by your one and only Gatineau Zone Ski Patrol.

The Gatineau Zone was proud to partake in the events on Parliament Hill this past Friday as part of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. May we keep our history in mind each day and strive for doing and being better.

A legend.
Our hearts go out to her loved ones.
On Monday, the outdoor industry lost one of its most adventurous and very best ski mountaineers, Hilaree Nelson, 49.
The mother of two, traveled some of the most exotic mountain ranges on earth including linking two 8000m peaks in one push, first descents in Baffin Island, a first American ascent and ski decent of Papsura peak in India and a first ski decent of the fourth highest peak in the world, Lhotse.
The NSP joins the Telluride, Colo., and outdoor community in mourning this profound loss. RIP

This past Sunday we set up shop for the CHEO Foundation event, the RBC Run for the Kids at Wesley Clover Park in Napean, ON.
