I have a passion for working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, both low and high technology options.
AAC is used in addition to (augmentative) or instead of (alternative) verbally communicating. Individuals who use AAC can have a variety of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), those who've had a stroke and are experiencing expressive language difficulties, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), etc.
