We had no soccer tonight…. that is a very rare occasion in our home so I took full advantage and did something for myself that was long overdue. Cleaned…. yes cleaned my messy craft studio!!! It becomes the dumping ground for everything because it’s in the basement and the door can be closed.

The only thing that could have topped tonight was time to make it a mess again by crafting! Looking forward to that… someday.

These kits are amazing for first time crafters or avid crafters. I often adjust the elements from the kit to create my own unique cards but you don’t have to!! The kits come with the projects fully prepped and great instructions. There is even an instructional video online!

You can receive these kits with a monthly subscription. They are great to have on hand…… especially when it’s too cold to go outside! (We are in an cold snap of -40 to -50 with the wind!!)

Do you make New Years Resolutions or goals?

For me, when it comes to my crafting it is to make time to do it more! Alone, with friends….doesn’t matter as long as it’s just more!

Yesterday, I was able to quickly complete 18 (yes 18!) cards using the FUN IN THE SUN PAPER PUMPKIN kit from July 2023.

It has been just over. three years since my sister-in-law‘s diagnosis of brain cancer. Mid last year she entered into full-time long term care.

Our experience with long-term care is that they are greatly underfunded. The facility team in charge of extra activities does what they can to enrich the residents lives but in our opinion it’s very minimal. We are told mostly due to budget.

Today and tomorrow for Giving Tuesday all proceeds from any sales placed under the following hostess code : XVKS3S9U will be donated and used to enrich the life of Tanya and the other residents.

I love having card kits on hand as gifts! They are great for a first time crafter or an experienced crafter. Includes everything you need including instructions!

I’m focused on getting caught up and reducing the number of unmade kits sitting in my craft room. I loved pulling out a box and having the projects prepped and ready to complete!

Working on some boozey thank you cards! At my FT job we partnered with a liquor rep to help fundraise at two local golf tournaments. Excited to put a thank package together of themed thank you cards.

Spent some time in my craft studio today designing a Canada Day treat 🇨🇦

Picture 1) potential new craft studio / space for my home office. After two years of full time working I am in need of a space that is ergonomically better for me.

Plus this means I move out of the basement bedroom and my oldest gets her own room.

Would you believe that design is $7k plus I need to move some electrical and also demo the wet bar to make space 😳
