It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself on here. As I’ve had lots of new faces appear, I figured now would be a good time to say hi!

My name is Charlee. I started making plant-based skincare back in 2015 while I was in my third semester of nursing school; but let’s go back for a minute.

Ever since I could walk, I enjoyed being outside more than inside. I was always the “tomboy” type. Loved getting dirty, fishing, hiking, you name it.

Fast forward, I was a rebellious teenager that decided I knew everything and could live on my own. I made some questionable decisions at times, but it got me to where I am today and made me the woman you now see.

I often feel like a cat that’s lived 9 lives. My best friend says I’m like an onion with all my layers.

I’ve had a culinary background for a majority of my adult life, but also branched into social media marketing, veterinary technician, model, and into my later years; a nurse, reflexologist and herbalist.

I’m a mom to twin boys (almost 6 years old) and homeschool them while running my business from home after shutting down my brick and mortar at the beginning of the pandemic. I work alone so I have to wear all the hats! It’s chaotic at times, but I’ve always joked that I thrive in chaos. Hence why the universe found humour in giving me twins. 🤪

That’s enough of me boring you. I appreciate you being here and supporting me. It’s the communities that are really the driving force to small businesses. Without you, I couldn’t do it. This year I’ve made a point to push myself to offer more outdoor experiences. This month alone has been filled with a variety of activities! Today was incredible.

I’ve been grateful for this cream the last few days! My boys have had shin aches in the middle of the night with Ouch Cream being our rescue! A beautiful blend of Lavender, Cypress, Marjoram and Tea Tree oil to battle the aches and pains of our littles! I love hearing all the incredible stories from you all about how your kiddos ask for the magic “ouch” cream for their bumps, bruises and growing pains. It melts my heart. 🥰🌸🌼

A little fun fact about Ouch Cream: my boys designed the label and suggested that every batch we change the colour! So that’s what we did! Not only was the design their idea; so was the cream itself! The boys used homemade “fishing poles” to forage it out of the water where they couldn’t reach.
