Posted • Muscular Dystrophy Canada and the Canadian Neuromuscular Disease Registry (CNDR) are partnering to collect Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) data to ensure Canada is ready to support individuals affected when a cure becomes available. FSHD is among the most common forms of muscular dystrophies. There is no cure for FSHD at the moment, but there are more than a dozen therapies/drug development programs in the pipeline.

Dystrophie musculaire Canada et le Canadian Neuromuscular Disease Registry (CNDR) s'associent pour recueillir des données sur la dystrophie facio-scapulo-humérale (FSH) afin que le Canada puisse soutenir les personnes touchées lorsqu'une solution thérapeutique sera disponible. La FSH est l'une des formes les plus courantes de dystrophie musculaire. Il n’existe aucun traitement curatif pour la FSH à l'heure actuelle, mais il existe plus d'une douzaine de thérapies et de programmes de développement de médicaments en cours.
