My name is Edwin Bishop, I was born and raised in Heart’s Delight. I worked and lived in Whitbourne for 35 years. I retired from teaching in 1994 and moved back to live in Heart’s Delight-Islington in 2003. The Busy Boys, oh how they played
In sun and rain, they'd never trade
Their childhood days, so full of glee
For anything, that much is clear to see
Toys and games, adventures wild
They roamed the earth, each carefree child
With hearts so light and laughter free
The world a playground, they ran with glee
From dawn till dusk, their laughter rang
And in their hearts, pure joy sprang
Through fields and woods, they'd explore
And at the end of the day, still wanting more
These stories now, they bring a smile
To those who've grown, and traveled miles
For in our hearts, those memories stay
Of childhood days, so far away
So let us cherish, those times of old
The tales of Busy Boys, so bold
For in those moments, life was sweet
With endless fun, and no defeat
