Wednesday Words of Wisdom
A common question from new stampers is do you need to clean stamps between colours? Yes! Clean your stamps between each ink colour as well as when you are finished to avoid cross contaminating your ink--not only will cross contamination stain your ink pad, you won't get the colour you were looking for!
Protect your cardstock--like all materials, UV rays can greatly effect them and cause fading. Store out of direct sunlight to prevent fading!
I am a clutz, I fully admit it. I will be the first one to stick my hand or clothes in ink. If you can relate, this one is for you--close your ink pad as soon as you've stamped to prevent any accidents!
Hey everyone! One final announcement.
We've had a lot of inquiries about crops lately and thought it might be best to address it to everyone.
Unfortunately, with the pandemic, both of our lives changed and unfortunately there will be no more crops with Crop Kingston.
We are proud of what we built, and the charities we were able to support over the years.
Amanda and I are both running classes (with smaller groups, and locations that are able to be more flexible timing-wise) at other locations and/or online. You can check out our individual pages at From Where I Stamp and Stamp & Create with Lisa. We will be deleting this page mid April, 2022.
Are we done with crops forever? Probably not. But we will not be operating as Crop Kingston going forward, and there will likely not be a crop from either of us for the next several months at minimum.
We thank you all for your support over the years, and we hope to continue crafting with you in the future! Make sure you follow our individual business pages to stay in touch and up to date with our events.
We hope you continue to craft and enjoy the friendships we have all built over the years!

Do you find you get a ring or "shoulders" around your image when you stamp? Don't rock your stamps when you ink them up, just gently "tap, tap, tap" to ink them up and avoid overinking them.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much to every member of my team, fellow demonstrator friends, and customers! You have all made my Stampin' Up! journey amazing! Who knew that paper, stamps and ink would lead to all this?!?
Any burning questions regarding Stampin' Up!? Ask away and I will do my best to answer!
Worried about your photopolymer stamps staining? Don't! It's completely normal, particularly with red and purple ink. And it won't effect the stamps ability to stamp a clear image.
Every year, Stampin' Up! releases 5 new In Colours in the Annual Catalog! These colours are only around for 2 years at a time, and are always on trend! The 2020-2022 In Colours are retiring soon. If you don't have yours yet, make sure you get them now--and stock up on reinker as it will sell out quickly!
We have so many new masks! Here are some great tips on using them on your projects!
Join me Friday, March 11th at for a quick & cute card class! Registration closes TOMORROW on February 28th!
