Tala and Choco pups, 4 weeks old! We have one black tri boy still looking for his special people!

Baysha x Titan pups are 1 week old!

Echo and Bosco pups arrived Thursday! They are being raised at Echo's co owner's in Belleville. Gorgeous litter, four girls, two boys!

Tala and Choco pups have relocated to Tala's owner's home where they will reside until they are ready for their new homes. We will continue with weekly updates though and very excited to see these puppies develop. This is my favourite time, 3 - 4 weeks old, puppies are playing and in the toddler stage while beginning to explore new sounds, textures, people, smells etc.

Baysha and Titan puppies arrived Saturday night, seven healthy, happy little munchkins! We have three boys, red tri, black tri and red merle. Four girls, two black tri, one red merle and one blue merle. Baysha and pups doing very well. Three are spoken for and four will be looking for a new address in eight weeks!

The "ZZZZZZ" litter is 2 weeks old! Tala and Choco pups have their eyes open but a few are sleeping in the photos. Next week we may get some outside photos! Tala's owners have taken over their care for the next four weeks or so and they will be following the Puppy Culture program and giving me updates, videos and pictures so we can follow them weekly.

Update- "Duke" has found his own loving family and he is one very happy boy!

This incredibly sweet, smart black tri boy laying down is still looking for his own people to love on. He is gorgeous with his copper eyebrows and rich colours, looks a little like a baby Bernese! The pups are waiting for their second vaccination, and the treats that will follow! I would love to get him a place to call his own soon, his red tri brother has already gone after this visit. Ernie sleeps 8 hours at night in his crate, doing well on potty training, walks on leash, travels in the car very well, lower energy level and tolerant of even young children. He will be on the bigger side, 17-18" and 35 pounds or a little more.

I came very close to losing Bosco today. It happened so fast and without him doing anything he hasnt done most of his life. I was gone most of the day so when i got home I let the three boys that were kenneled out to play with girls who had been outside for hours. We had visitors, my granddaughter was playing with the puppies and we were just hanging out in the back yard with all the dogs. About 40 minutes later, we noticed Bosco had collapsed, he was rigid, wide eyed with tongue hanging out and in obvious distress. While we were playing with the puppies he had been running around with his toy, trying to get the other dogs to chase him. He must have been over exerting himself and was now suffering from heat stroke. Completely unexpected since he spends most days outdoors snd there are plenty of shady areas to rest. I immediately picked him up and took him in the house to the bath tub and started running cool water on his feet, side and then pouring buckets of cool water on him, never cold, you dont want to shock a dog when cooling them off. He was rock hard, completely rigid with his legs under him and convulsing. His eyes were vacant and he was salivating heavily. This went on for 15 minutes before he started to relax. Then i wraped a towel around him and brough him to the livingroom by the air conditioner. Removed the towel and sat with him. He tried to get up and vomited. I did get some pedialyte water into him when he relaxed and was coming around. He has recovered, slept a few hours peacefully and went back to carrying around his toy which is normal. I know not to force play in the heat, I just assumed Bosco would know that too! Anyway, this story had a happy ending but I know it could have ended badly as well so just a reminder that heat stroke can happen at anytime and can be fatal.

Six gorgeous Tala and Choco puppies arrived on Monday! Three merle and one tri will be looking for their forever family close to the end of September. Merles have tails! Expecting all of these pupies will have amazing temperaments like their parents and lovely conformation. Tala is a Callie x Simon daughter and a perfect companion for her "people" who have allowed her to stay here to raise her litter. Some exciting weeks to come!

This guy is so sweet, he is going to be a very handsome boy as an adult, looks at that face! He is looking forward to finding his own place to call home. Love his low key, chill personality, perfect for kids or retired, he will likely fit in anywhere. Fully crate trained, doing well on potty training, basic manners and very quiet!

Bosco had a great weekend at the Canine Water Sports dock diving competition and took first place in the Top Junior Division with a 14ft 4 inch jump in the finals. Bosco hasn't competed since 2022 and thanks to co owner, Desera Jaynes, he is back in the game! I will post some jump shots later.

This crew are ready to go this coming weekend. Still a few to place, Ernie (black tri boy, Simon (red tri boy), Felix (red merle boy). I will include summary of personalities for each puppy with their photo.

Icy and Choco pups almost seven weeks old.

She spends the day rippin’ along the beach full tilt, jumping waves as they catch up to her. This girl is on the smaller side, a stunning red Merle with great bone structure and a signature Keecam head. Sassy is headed to Australia in a few months 🦘🇦🇺

At 5-weeks old, our Icy X Choco pups are really starting to move! At 3-4 weeks this litter was more relaxed in their ways, not nearly as active as our previous litters at this age. They are a much more observant and content bunch, much like their dad, and are currently rocking it at crate training!

Crate training should start by 5 weeks of age, these pups are doing very well, no stress! I start by putting 2-3 pups in crates and feeding, hoping they will eat and fall asleep, this does not always work but this litter is totally rocking it!!! Such a quiet and content bunch, love when they settle this quickly, makes the transition to their new homes so much easier. We will be out for a car ride next!

Looks like these two lucky redheads get a few extra days growing up on the farm with the Keecam pack! Venti (male) & Trés (female) have been learning well from the big kids, progressing with crate and potty training at 10 weeks. These two are from our Boomer (Keecam) x Mortimer (MacLand) cross partnering with . Both parents are CKC-registered with full panel genetic and health tested (i.e eyes, hips, joints).

These two love to be outdoors play fighting in our field, travel very well in the car, and have been showing off their excellent form and structure during our walks along the quiet County roads.
