For those who know me or have known me for awhile, I workout at home roughly 5-6 days a week for some time now.

Now that the Winter weather is officially here, I’m working out on my rebounder instead of going for my walk/run early in the morning before breakfast. So many benefits to this ass kicker in a short amount of time!

Well 2023 and the holiday season are officially in the books. Is it just me or did this past year go by faster than the last few?

At the beginning of 2023 I made a promise to challenge myself and get comfortable being uncomfortable personally, physically, mentally and spiritually and I did on every level which made me better and stronger person than I was a year ago.

2024 will be no different as I will continue working on being the best version of myself.

Last January I found one of these super cute heart pillows for my living room and searched the whole store along with a few other locations for another one and of course there wasn’t one anywhere to be found… I know those of you who shop there know my pain!

About a month ago I went back to the location where I found it and didn’t see one anywhere until I went to the kids decor section and something white, soft and fluffy was sticking out of basket and sure enough I found a second one… I was so excited! And again I know those of you who shop there regularly know the feeling of hunting and finding exactly what you’ve been looking for!

It took a year but I can honestly say good things come to those who wait. So happy to have my living room cozy, cute and Valentine’s Day ready!

Slowly catching up after getting back from my trip to the Dominican. I know it’s been awhile since most of us have travelled, so by sharing all the fantastic views in my stories I was hoping to try and take you along on my adventure!

This week I finally finished my Christmas shopping and had time to put up a few things around the house to celebrate this chaotic yet magical time of year. Even managed to put up the Christmas tree yesterday… better late than never but not sure I’ll have time to decorate it before tomorrow but at least it’s up and put a few gifts under it. In the end what matters is that you’re surrounded by the family and friends who mean the most.

My laundry room makeover that I started in the Spring is finally starting to come together.
💡
My main goal was to reduce the amount of electricity in this space.
💡
This was achieved by purchasing energy efficient appliances, having new garage doors installed with windows and a door from the garage into the laundry room/mudroom with a full glass insert.
💡
Originally I was going to have a window installed above the dryer but I think this was a much better and creative way of accomplishing my goal with as little dust and chaos to my home as possible.
💡
Also bought the perfect wood framed mirror and added the cursive laundry room sign to reflect the natural light and add a little something unexpected to the space.
💡
Now I’m on the hunt for the perfect wood drum flush mount light. I’ve seen a couple I like and will share them in my stories sometime today so let me know what you think!

Sharing a couple of pics from a recent project which turned out fantastic!

In consultation with my customer it was decided that Dekton Laurent, a matte black slab with brown/gold veining would be perfect in pulling this kitchen together.
The material was also used for full backsplash, so no grout lines and waterfall legs of both sides of the island so it commands attention upon entering the space.
