UK bans live export of horses for slaughter "The passage of this law ensures that no horse, pony or donkey will legally be exported from Great Britain for slaughter"
Classic WFP quote after absolutely slaying his cross country round at Badminton. His dry sense of humour and humility are something else. And yes, I'm unabashedly fan girling here.
“I missed a bit in the bottom of the Quarry [at 4AB and 5], but that was probably good to sharpen us both back up,” he laughs. “She was really good over the Eyelash coffin [at15abc], Because I thought she could well have thought that ditch was rather horrendous and straightened up to it, and it would have been a hell of an angle, but she stayed on her line there. I kept on saying to myself ‘shorten my reins!’ — I know my reins got a bit long, but she didn’t need any reins, did she? She would’ve gone around in a head collar! Anyone could ride her – she’s a good old man’s conveyance.”

🐲🎉Happiest of Birthdays buddy🐎🐉
Ok, stay with me cuz there are a lot of crazy coincidences happening today. Today, February 29 is The Dragon's ( that's Beau for the uninitiated...every horse here has multiple nick names!) Birthday. Yep, I can only imagine that he LEAPED outta his dam and immediately started dancing. He has been doing it ever since whenever the mood strikes but never under saddle. So as a leap year baby born in 2008 he has had 4 birthdays to date. It also happens that this year is The Year Of The Dragon. We can't wait to see what bizarre craziness he will get up to in the coming year...best tuck our chins and hold on tight!!!!
It's official..spring is imminent. Ice is breakable on the edge so it's PLAYTIME.
Love it! Good bye stuffy dressage🤣
