Dear clients,

I am nervous writing this message to you because - as a working mom - I know how difficult it is to manage a family's schedule to ensure everyone is taken care of. I also recognize it's even more challenging to try to ensure there is even the smallest amount of time left for us moms to treat ourselves. I really hope, at the heart of this letter, you'll see I am still trying to put your needs first and ensure every experience is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of real (mom) life.

With that said, I would like to share with you that children will no longer be able to attend their mothers appointments. Over the years, I have really tried to be accommodating of this need, but it has reached a point where I am not able to fully concentrate on doing my best work; my clients are not able to completely unwind; and the environment within the salon is no longer what it needs to be to support my clients' best-possible experiences.

I understand this news may be upsetting for some of my extremely valued clients, and I hope you know I am not delivering it lightly. However, I need to maintain the integrity of my salon in order to do right by each client. I apologize in advance for the inconvenience this adjustment may cause, and I recognize the transition may not be easy. However, I am really hopeful you will come to see this is the right decision for everyone.

I look forward to seeing you beautiful ladies at my new location and to welcome you into a much-deserved break from "mom life" - even if it's just for a few short hours of total relaxation and indulgence. I also hope everyone is enjoying the last rays of summer sunshine and wish all your little ones the very best during their first few weeks of school.
