Cutting out the sink hole in this walnut countertop with my @makita.ca router & @festoolcanada carvex jigsaw.
After tracing the sink hole out on the actual countertop I decided to trace it onto a piece of scrap. Then cut out the sink hole in the scrap piece and place it on my countertop to use as a template to cut the hole with a router.ππ
People are really liking this look and the more I do it, the more I like it as well. It adds uniqueness, and in my opinion an upscale look to the piece.ππ
Adding a piece of walnut to the front and side edges of this countertop to give it some thickness. I like using 1β stock for countertops because itβs easy for sink and tap installation. I add this strip to give the countertop a 2β thick look.ππ
