Whether you are planning to build a new home, renovate your existing home or a new commercial construction project or te
nant improvements, we will work with you to develop a project delivery solution that addresses your specific project needs and goals. We will work with you and your design team to finalize a scope of work that meets both your budget and aesthetic goals. While you have tasked your design team with taking your vision and setting it out in a set of drawings and specifications, we will take their final construction documents and translate them into physical reality. Prior to the construction phase, we can assist you in monitoring the design phase, to ensure that your design team has your goals in mind and is working within your budget constraints. As your architect progresses through the design process, we can provide you with budget reviews, constructability reviews and if your budget and the design of your project aren’t in sync, we can provide the value engineering services in an effort to bring these to aspects of your project back into sync. Once your project is construction ready, we will guide you through the procurement process and build a team of trade contractors that are best suited to constructing the various aspects of your project. Prior to the procurement process, we will develop a final construction cost estimate based on real world costs derived from our past and present market experience, that we feel will accurately indicate what you can expect of the final “bid price”. From site mobilization through to the completion of your project we will coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction work conducted both on site and off. Our project managers and superintendents will monitor all work to ensure that it is building code compliant and installed error-free. Deficient work results in change orders, and we strive to prevent this every step of the way. While we are monitoring the quality of the workmanship on site, we are also monitoring safety procedures as well. Safety is always our overriding concern on any construction project, and we orient all trade contractors prior to the start of their respective scope of work and ensure that all site personnel are complying with WorkSafe BC regulations and guidelines. We want you and your design team to be safe when they visit the site, and we want all of our trades to be safe on site from start to finish. Once your project is completed, we will deliver you with a set of project closeout documents that will include warranty and guarantee information, as well as maintenance manuals for any appliances or home/building systems that may have been installed.
