⚡️THROWBACK THURSDAY⚡️

This throwback is from 10 years ago, back in 2014 where my band at the time, The Transition, played The Oasis in Halifax. I believe that night we also played with our Pictou boys, Machete.

The Transition was also briefly known as The Shattered State and would end as a three piece as Jet Black Mirror, a band name I still have reserved for a future project. The band, at this point was myself, Mikey Smeltzer, Dan Marshall and AJ Leadbetter.

You will see me back on stages at some point this year with a band. More on that soon

This throwback is from July 2006 when my old band, Singledout, played our last show together.

At this point, it was just myself and Ian McLaren left from the original 4. We played the Pictou Lobster Carnival main stage here in 2006. I remember having a huge crowd full of friends, fans and family. We had a lot of fun and laughs during this one!

Hopefully I can return to this stage with my new band this year or at least soon!

TEN YEARS LATER…

I’ve made it 10 years sober. It’s absolutely insane how fast that decade has gone by. Best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I highly recommend it.

This photo is from last nights quick lighting test for some upcoming video clips. As many of you have noticed, I’ve been making more reel style videos. It’s something I really enjoy and there will be a lot more coming.

Live gigs have seemed to slow down for me and harder to book lately, so I’m spending a lot of my time in my new home studio. I’m recording, writing and working on social media content steady and it feels great.

Lastly, I have recorded an oldie but a goodie, my original, ‘Heart That’s On A Sleeve’. It will be released as a fully electric version very soon with my solo electric album right behind it. You can hear samples of it in my recent short videos.

Did I mention I have a band now? We’ll talk about this and more VERY soon.
