Yorkton Dental wants to extend its gratitude to our exceptional hygiene team. During Dental Hygienist Week, we want to recognize the invaluable contributions of our talented and committed hygienists who deliver high-quality preventive care to our patients.
Furthermore, we would like to acknowledge an oversight in not commemorating Dental Assistant Week in March. We wish to express our appreciation to all our dental assistants, both those in our reception team and those assisting chairside alongside our dentists. A special thank you to our local restaurants, WOK BOX - Yorkton and Browns Socialhouse Yorkton, for providing a delicious lunch.

Yorkton Dental, a thriving locally owned dental clinic, has multiple hygiene positions available following a significant office expansion.

Our clinic is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including digital x-ray sensors, digital charting, intraoral cameras, digital intraoral scanners, 3D printing, and guided biofilm therapy units. The brand new operatories feature fully enclosed and spacious rooms with education and entertainment TVs mounted on the wall/ceiling. Instruments are replaced regularly to ensure effectiveness and lessen hand fatigue, as well as built-in cavitrons and guided biofilm therapy units available for use.

Responsibilities for dental hygienists include preventive care, periodontal disease management, oral cancer screening, and patient education. We pride ourselves on prioritizing quality dental care above all us. Operating hours are Monday to Friday 7:45am-4:30pm, with no evening or weekends. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a health spending account, group retirement benefits, uniform allowance, extended health benefits, paid CE, paid license and malpractice fees, free parking, and in office gym. Wage to be determined, but competitive based on experience and skillset.

We are located in downtown Yorkton and strive to deliver the best dental care possible in a friendly environment. Yorkton Dental is locally owned/operated and has integrated all the latest technologies including digital x-ray sensors, digital charting, CEREC, digital intraoral scanners, 3D Printing, lab design software and more. The operatories are dual entry, enclosed and spacious, with education and entertainment TVs mounted on the wall/ceiling for our patients.
Typical duties expected of a dental assistant, but we love to educate and empower our assistants to use the most of their skills and scope to be more involved with patient care. Yorkton Dental would like to welcome Dr. Caleigh Grunert to the practice!!

Dr. Grunert was born and raised in Yorkton, Sk. After graduation from the YRHS in 2015, she moved across the country to attend Dalhousie University. While there, she completed two years of general science and enjoyed the Halifax harbour. In her third year, she completed a semester abroad at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, before eventually returning to the University of Saskatchewan where she was accepted into the College of Dentistry in 2018.

Dr. Grunert recently graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine and is very excited to be providing dental treatment back in her hometown. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is passionate about proving quality care to meet the individualized needs of her patients.
