Dan and Wanita have been franchise owners of the *Your Independent Grocer* in Smiths Falls since 2009.
The grocery store owners have been huge supporters of the Smiths Falls community and donated to countless charities and fundraising events throughout the years. They have offered their location to fundraising events as well as raised funds through donation drives.
Dan Andress started as a part-time Loblaws grocery store clerk at the age of 15, and has played many roles at a number of stores within the Loblaws Companies Ltd. in areas such as Smiths Falls, Ottawa, Kingston and Brockville.
Andress’ Your Independent Grocer was named Business of the Year in 2014
Dan Andress was named Business Person of the Year in 2018
